I teach literature classes to university undergraduates. For 25 years I struggled to figure out a way to get students to do the reading and engage with it in a meaningful way. Then I found Perusall, which has transformed how I teach. I cannot imagine teaching without Perusall now! Not only does it get the students talking to each other about the literature in a way that they would never do in the classroom, it lets me observe or join the conversations.
